Acknowledgement of receipt of MAT B1 - entitled to SMP
This letter can be used in the event of an employee notifying you that she is pregnant, has provided you with her MAT B1 form and has the necessary length of service to qualify for Statutory Maternity Pay. Both you and your employee may wish to consider how to treat holiday entitlement; it is normal practice for a pregnant employee to take her full holiday entitlement prior to the commencement of her Maternity Leave.
